Before I started to learn to drive with David I had been with 2 different driving instructors from different driving schools.
David is an awesome driving instructor he makes you feel very comfortable in his car, he has easy approaches to manoeuvres, he is honest with how you are progressing and more importantly he is in it for you and your driving not for the money!!
I would recommend David to anybody as I passed first time with minimal minors....as did my 2 sister pass first with david, also with minimal minors!!!!!!

Learning to drive with David was very easy, he made everything simple to understand and learn.
He taught me to keep all those distractions out of my mind.
I would recommend him to anyone because I truely believe he could teach anyone.

I thought Dave was a fantastic driving instructor I learnt with others to start with but didn't get along with them as well as i did with Dave. He has a very good way of explaining the different manouvers and makes you feel comfortable in the car. He provides a laid back atmosphere and you do feel as if you are driving with a friend as apposed to an instructor. I passed first time learning with Dave so it all paid off. I would recommend David Walker to any new drivers.

Upon passing my test I was actually saddened by the fact that I wouldn't get to see Dave every week like I so looked forward to. Wednesday was the best day of the week, we used to have such a laugh and a good time, and I'm currently putting off calling up for my pass plus because then I know it's a countdown to the end!
During the lessons even when i did something wrong Dave never got angry and was constantly calm and relaxed. He taught me methods, hints and tips that made the manouvres easy. Out of all my friends I am assured that I had the best driving instructor based on a number of factors, but ultimately I was fully prepared for my test and managed to pass first time.
Miss you Dave :)

In my oppinion Dave is the best!! I learned to drive quickly and from scratch. I passed my test easilly as well and now im really confident driver. I am from Lithuania and it was a language barrear as well as it was really scarry for me to drive in the beggining, but dave dealt with it very well and showed good patients. I didn't knew the area very well, but after the lessons i could easilly tell that i know most of the roads in my area. Dave picked up all of my faults very quickly and teached me how to avoid them. I think with other instructor it would took me a lot longer to pass my driving test. I would highly recommend David Walker.

Simply put, if I had had any other instructor than Dave, I would certainly not have passed first time in the amount of time that I did. Though I was a naturally nervous driver with little confidence, Dave's calming influence and constant drive to help me improve meant that before long I was as confident as any other driver. I would highly recommend Dave to anyone learning to drive. As an instructor, he is calm, patient and very clear in his teaching. He will not push you too hard, nor will he let you slack off. Also his record speaks for itself, and by choosing him as your instructor, you are putting yourself in the best position to pass first time. Not only is he a great instructor, but he is a top bloke. I am so glad that I was able to enjoy my driving lessons in a relaxing environment in which I was able to talk to a genuine, down to earth guy. Choose Dave Walker as your driving instructor, he does exactly what it says on the tin!

David Walker was suggested to me by BSM after I had finished a course of simulation lessons there, I remember on my first lesson walking to the car thinking of all the things that would go wrong, but then Dave stepped out of the car, said hello, shook my hand, and gave me all the confidence and trust that I needed to make the lesson go smoothly, as well as every lesson and test after that. Dave is extremely capable, professional, organised, enthusiastic, funny, flexible (making me schoolwork and other commitments so much easier to do) and always able to make anyone feel better. Other students of Daves I'm sure will agree, he is more your friend than driving instructor. He consoled me after my fails and was ecstatic with my pass, and for everything he gave me, I am incredibly grateful.
After the test, he took me through all of my Pass Plus Scheme as well, to further my driving skills and we had very productive and enjoyable lessons with this, my only complaint with Dave is being so good at teaching the lessons could not have gone on for longer because I really miss the times, and the endless banter, we had together
You want some robot who will teach you to drive, go to some big, emotionless driving school, but if you want a friend who can do all that the robot does and so much more, take all the advice already posted from me and his other students, and learn to drive with David Walker

Learning to drive is a big step in life, and I wanted to do it as well as I could, in as pleasent an environment as possible. Learning with David was exactly the sort of experience everyone should have when they learn to drive. I was dubious at first because I had recently moved to the area so I didn't even have a good idea of what roads went where, but David was very patient with me, and made all my lessons both exciting and interesting. I'd heard so many people say they had to go through several instructors before they found one they were happy with, so I felt very lucky to have found David first. If it wasn't for his kind support and confidence boosting encouragement I don't think I would have passed both my theory and practical tests first time. I definitely recommened David to anyone wishing to learn to drive, you will not be disappointed!

David was the best driving instructor I could have asked for! I enjoyed every one of my lessons, from my very first to the drive over to the test centre on my test date!! He was always easy to talk to, calm and unflappable and taught me, with great techniques and understanding, how to drive in a safe and confident way. I really felt like the lessons were my own, and didnt ever feel 'afraid' to ask if I needed to revisit something! I highly, highly recommend David to anyone that is planning to learn to drive!

Dave was my one and only instructor and I would not have changed him for anything. We had so much fun together and he was more of a friend than a teacher, yet he still offered support and guidance. All of my lessons were different and I quickly progressed to taking my test. Dave gave me the confidence I needed and I felt well prepared. Over 2 tests I only had 4 minors which I was very pleased with. After hearing many of my friends complaining about their instructors I was glad to have Dave and I would happily recommend him to anyone :)
